Located only 6 kilometres from Sydney’s CBD Mushiro in Balmain is open for Brunch, Lunch and Dinner, seven days a week, Mushiro offers authentic Japanese cuisine in a friendly, family style atmosphere.
If you’re not sure what to order, or how much you want to eat, then use out sushi train. A continual conveyer belt of small dishes are presented on the train, and customers can have whatever strikes their fancy. And there’s always more coming if you happen to take to any dish in particular.
Or, if you are already familiar with Japanese cuisine we can serve your meal directly to you. We have a long menu with many popular items, and new items are being frequently added. Our dishes include traditional Japanese items that predate modern cooking methods, foods that date from the Meiji period of industrialization, of the late 19th century, 20th century foods influenced by Japan’s contact with other cultures, and modern dishes proclaimed to be regional specialties when Japan became popular as a tourist destination.
